Green Tea - This oriental tea contains powerful catechins which are potent antioxidants that have been shown to prevent cancer. A recent report in the European Journal of Neuroscience even suggested that regular consumption of green tea may reduce the risk of age related degenerative brain disorders such as Alzheimer's disease.

Furthermore, we all know that antioxidants slow down skin and collagen aging and can delay the onset of ugly wrinkles and facial skin sagging.

Tomatoes – Your mum may not know what make tomatoes healthy, but she definitely knew that it is when she screamed at you to eat your tomatoes when you were a kid. This is because tomatoes contain a high dose of lycopine.

Lycopine hinders the skin's aging process thus helping to reduce wrinkles and fine lines. It does this to the DNA in mitochondria cells which are crucial to cellular growth.

 

Tomatoes also contain a good dash of vitamin C which is also an antioxidant helping to strengthen collagen fibers. Collagen is a protein that is essential to your skink, cartilage and ligaments.

 

Yogurt – The humble yogurt contains calcium which maintains strong bones. It also contains probiotics which helps to prevent bowel diseases.
