What Are Human Pheromones?

Sex appeal pheromones are airborne chemicals which are emitted by humans and animals to attract the opposite sex or even the same sex for that matter if you are a gay or lesbian. The University of Colorado researchers have found that pheromones are detected through the Vemeronasal Organ (VNO) in the nose. That is why, pheromones are sometimes known as sex aphrodisiac.

They found that all humans have two small holes on both sides of the hard divider in the nose. A group of cells are located just behind these holes. These cells are similar in appearance to nerve cells and they concluded these cells are responsible for detecting human pheromones. The human pheromones then transmit a signal to the hypothalamus in the brain, sending a chemical message of sexual attraction.

How Do Pheromones Work

Pheromones are believed to be detected on an instinctive subconscious level. That will mean that you don't even know that you're receiving them or emitting them, although you are.

There are many different species of animals including humans which emit this powerful sexual attraction chemical. In the animal kingdom, it is very easy to see the amazing power that pheromones have over sexual instincts and arousals. My take is that every individual is producing their own natural human pheromones and therefore we are attracting or attracted to different people most of the time. In other words, how can it be possible for companies to produce one type of pheromone oil or spray and claim that anyone can use them to be sexually attractive? The human pheromone is unique to everyone of us.

I did some research from this angle and found that most, if not all man made pheromones in market are made from pig pheromones (as in oink oink), fake pheromones (so called synthetically engineered) or real human pheromones extracted from cadavers (dead bodies). Omigosh!

So, in order to avoid these scam pheromones sprays and oils, the best way then is to make your body produce more of your own distinctively unique human pheromones naturally.
